Specialists the key to finance transactions

Melbourne-based shopfitting company Australian Professional Shopfitters say that using experts for financial transactions helps their company maintain its specialisation.

APS produces high-quality retail fitouts across Australia and overseas. Their client list is a who’s who of prominent retailers: Ted’s Camera Store, Maggie T, ABC, Shaver Shop, Australian Geographic, Aquila Shoes, Oxford Shop and Casual Guy just to name a few.

The company provides the design, full project management and complete manufacturing in-house. Each job is unique according to the client’s brief.

Ken Miller, Australian Professional Shopfitters CEO, says that over the years they have regularly purchased new equipment to keep up with technological developments and have chosen commercial finance specialist Interlease to assist with these transactions.

“Concentrating on the business is essential to keep one step ahead,” says Ken. “This is a competitive, hands-on business, and for us, attention to detail is critical to our customers.”

As a result, Australian Professional Shopfitters is happy to use the services of Interlease who manage the transactions with minimal fuss and disruption to the business.

“We don’t really have the time to compare all the products from financial providers on the market,” says Ken. “It’s not our core business. That’s Interlease’s specialty.”

Miller says that having Interlease as specialists to assist with their finance requirements has enabled them to continue to prosper over the last 17 years. Three years ago the company launched its own transport division.

“In the same way, using specialists such as Interlease, enables Australian Professional Shopfitters to continue to be specialists.”

Ken says that Interlease’s attention to detail and management of the entire process is paramount.

“They really understand the needs of the customer, and have an ethos of customer service which is outstanding,” he says

Interlease provides flexible commercial finance options for a wide range of equipment including machinery, office and factory fit-outs, IT software and hardware, maintenance and servicing agreements as well as working capital and trade finance solutions.
